Based on this motto, education incorporates the changes which occur in the course of time and develops the appropriate scientific and pedagogical mechanisms in order to adjust its means and functions to the newly-formed requirements of our times.
In this framework, the curriculum in the Department of Primary Education of the University of Ioannina utilizes the modern scientific, technological and social models.
The Undergraduate studies in the Department include a total of courses which cover the scientific field of the Education Sciences, issues of didactics and art as well as a wide range of cognitive areas, equipping the students adequately in order to have a well-rounded education. An education that concerns the scientist teacher but the successful teacher as well.
All the members of the academic staff of the Department of Primary Education deliver excellent teaching and contribute to the multi-faceted development of the students of the Department.
